FULL DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT

A full assessment of learning needs

• Diagnostic assessment available for ages 8 - 18

• In depth assessment to diagnose dyslexia and specific learning difficulties

• Identifies learning strengths and weaknesses

• A detailed report provides recommendations for school, home and IT support

• We are happy to talk with class teachers and SEND departments in order to ensure that accommodations and modifications suggested in the report are effectively implemented and followed through

EXAM ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS

Exam support

Ensuring that children have the right Access Arrangements in place before formal exams is key for success.

• All testing is in line with the strict JCQ guidelines and includes: liaison with the school,  completion of the Form 8​ and a short report is also provided.​​​

 • Arrangements such as extra time and scribes can have a huge impact on exam results for learners with dyslexia.

• Assessment should be carried well in advance of formal exams (i.e. SATS, GCSEs, A Levels)

TUTORING

The path to success

• Specialist tuition available for all ages from primary school to university students

• Multi sensory, meta-cognitive strategies used alongside repetition and over-learning

 • Specialist literacy teaching and phonics programs

• Uses individual strengths to enable learning

• GCSE English and study skills tuition available

£45 per hour / group costs priced on request

DYSLEXIA SCREENER

Screening for risk of dyslexia

• Screens for dyslexia and provides an 'at risk' quotient

• Broadly identifies some learning strengths and weaknesses

• Provides an insight into the likelihood of a person having dyslexia but does not provide a diagnosis

Not currently offered - most schools should provide this as an initial tool to highlight potential difficulties
